These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Vastu Sense mobile application and the website vastusense.xyz (together, the "Service"), operated by Spatiq AI Private Limited ("we", "our", or "us"), the company behind the Vastu Sense product. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By signing in you confirm that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are adding resident details for a minor, you confirm that you are that minor's parent or legal guardian.
Access requires a valid Indian mobile phone number. We authenticate via one-time passcode (OTP) — no password is created or stored. You are responsible for keeping your phone number and OTP confidential. Notify us immediately at support@vastusense.co.in if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
One account per phone number. You may not create accounts on behalf of others or share your account with others.
No free tier. All analysis features require a paid plan (Basic at ₹99/report or Premium at ₹199/report). Plan selection and payment occur before each analysis.
Per-report pricing. Both plans are charged per report — there are no subscriptions or recurring charges for retail users. The fee is displayed before you confirm the analysis.
How payment is processed. On Android, payment is processed by Spatiq AI Private Limited through our payment partner, and we issue a GST tax invoice. On iPhone and iPad, purchases are made through Apple's In-App Purchase system. For those purchases Apple is the seller of record, and your receipt is issued by Apple. Prices may differ slightly between platforms.
Refunds — Android and direct purchases. Payments are generally non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 7 days at support@vastusense.co.in and we will review your case. Refunds are at our sole discretion.
Refunds — iPhone and iPad purchases. Purchases made through Apple's In-App Purchase system are refunded by Apple, not by us. Requests are made at reportaproblem.apple.com and the decision rests entirely with Apple. If the issue is with the report itself, contact us first — in most cases we can correct it or issue a complimentary replacement.
Consultation fees. Consultations with independent Vastu consultants are priced and charged separately from report plans. Each consultant sets their own fee, which is shown in full on their profile before you confirm a booking. We collect that fee from you on the consultant's behalf and remit it to them after deducting our service fee. Consultation fees are processed by Spatiq AI Private Limited through our payment partner. Booking a consultation is always optional — no report plan requires it.
Developer accounts are annual, managed offline by our team, and governed by a separate agreement.

You retain ownership of the floor plan images, property details, and resident data you upload ("Your Content"). By uploading, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process and store Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
You confirm that you have the right to share any floor plan images you upload — for example, that they are your own property or that you have permission from the copyright holder.
We do not use Your Content to train AI models. Floor plan images are used only for room detection analysis for your specific property.
Vastu Sense provides Vastu Shastra analysis based on a deterministic scoring rule engine informed by classical Vastu texts. Our scores and recommendations are informational in nature and are not a substitute for advice from a qualified architect, structural engineer, or other licensed professional. If you would like a human Vastu opinion alongside your report, you can book an independent consultant through the Service — see Section 7.
We do not guarantee that following any remedy or recommendation will produce any specific outcome — financial, health-related, or otherwise. Vastu principles are traditional in origin and their effects are not scientifically proven. Use your judgment when acting on any recommendation.
Floor plan analysis accuracy depends on the quality and clarity of the floor plan image you upload. Scores may differ from those calculated by a human Vastu consultant using different methodologies, including a consultant you book through the Service.
Independent professionals. Consultants listed in the Service are independent third-party professionals. They are not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of Spatiq AI Private Limited. We do not supervise, direct, or control the advice they give, and we are not a party to the consulting engagement between you and a consultant.
What "verified" means. Before listing a consultant, we carry out a reasonable review of the background, qualifications, and experience they present to us. This is an internal review only. It is not a licence, certification, accreditation, or endorsement, and it is not a warranty of the quality, suitability, or accuracy of any advice given. Vastu Shastra is not a statutorily licensed profession in India.
Booking and payment. Each consultant sets their own fee and their own available modes — online video consultation, an in-person visit to your property, or both. The fee and mode are shown before you confirm. We collect the fee on the consultant's behalf and remit it to them after deducting our service fee, as described in Section 3.
Cancellation and rescheduling. Each consultant sets their own cancellation and rescheduling policy, which is shown on their profile before you book. That policy governs your booking. Our Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how this works in practice, including what happens if a consultant cancels or does not attend.
In-person consultations. If you book a visit to your property, you are responsible for providing safe and lawful access and for the safety of the premises. The consultant is responsible for their own conduct. We are not present at, and take no responsibility for, what occurs during a visit.
No guaranteed outcome. A consultant's opinion is their own. It may differ from your Vastu Sense score or from another consultant's view. We do not adopt, endorse, or warrant it, and we do not guarantee that acting on it will produce any particular result.
Our role and liability. Our role is limited to listing consultants, enabling bookings, and processing payment. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for the acts or omissions of any consultant, or for any loss arising from advice a consultant gives you. If something goes wrong, contact us at support@vastusense.co.in — we will try to help resolve it with the consultant, and we may remove a consultant from the Service at our discretion.
Consultants wishing to be listed. Vastu consultants who want to appear in the Service may contact us at support@vastusense.co.in or on +91 93733 76772. Listing is at our sole discretion and is governed by a separate agreement between us and the consultant. Consultant accounts cannot be self-created.
The Vastu Sense name, logo, scoring methodology, report design, and all software are our intellectual property. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of our IP to you.
PDF reports generated for you are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may share them with family, friends, or your architect. You may not resell or sublicense reports, or represent them as your own work.
Developer accounts are not self-created. Use of the developer feature is governed by a separate onboarding agreement entered into with our team. For buyer data processed through your account, you act as the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and Vastu Sense acts only as your Data Processor, processing buyer data solely on your instructions and solely to generate and deliver the report, the verification page, and related analytics. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or emergency changes at any time. We will attempt to notify users of scheduled downtime via push notification at least 24 hours in advance where possible.
If AI services (Anthropic Claude, AWS Rekognition) are unavailable, we will return your Vastu score from the deterministic rule engine with generic report text. You will never be blocked from receiving a score due to AI service outages.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vastu Sense and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service — including decisions made based on Vastu scores or recommendations, or on advice given by an independent consultant booked through the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account. Account deletion is irreversible and will permanently remove your data.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. We will notify you before termination where reasonably possible, except in cases of serious violation.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
We will notify you of material changes via push notification and in-app banner at least 7 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are between you and Spatiq AI Private Limited only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the Service. If the Service fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim relating to the Service, including product liability, regulatory non-compliance, or consumer protection claims. In the event of a third-party claim that the Service infringes intellectual property rights, Spatiq AI Private Limited is solely responsible for its investigation and defence. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and have the right to enforce them against you.
